Junior Accountant

**General purpose of the position**:
The Junior Accountant responsibilities include maintaining general ledger, preparing month-end close procedures and files, reconciling account balances and bank statements. Accountant duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all assigned accounting tasks.
**Position tasks / Responsibilities**
- Gather, monthly, the backup (Aging, roll forward, reconciliations, etc.) for each Balance Sheet account.
- Maintain support files (vendor trends, variance analysis, etc.) for certain Income Statement accounts.
- Financial statement preparation on a quarterly basis under local regulations.
- Interact with auditors regarding information/documentation requirements.
- Prepare all the needed documentation for updating the statutory and US GAAP books (daily journals, balance sheet, tax book, managers meetings, others)
