JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

Our client is seeking a detail‑orientated and highly organised Accountant to ensure accurate financial record‑keeping compliance with statutory regulations, and the provision of timely financial insights that support strategic decision‑making across the organization.

This is an ENTRY LEVEL position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Pastel accounting experience
• Minimum of 1‑2 years of relevant experience
• Packhouse experience will be an advantage
• Studying for a finance or Accountant degree or diploma will be advantageous

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Capture and process supplier invoices accurately in the accounting system
• Match purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices
• Reconcile supplier statements with creditor ledger balances
• Prepare payment batches and ensure timely supplier payments
