Job Description

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant / Accounting Clerk to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. This role supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general administrative accounting functions while assisting the finance team with reporting and month-end activities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within an accounting role.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform data entry, invoice processing, and payment application tasks.
  • Prepare bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
