Jumbo Operator – Hemlo Mining Corp Project

Overview

Manroc is recruiting for Jumbo Operators , at our Hemlo Mining Corp Project site near Marathon, Ontario. Reporting to the Underground Supervisor, the Jumbo Operator will be involved in drilling, blasting, operating mining machinery, and related duties.

Drive-in Site – Local positions and some positions with Accommodations.

7/7 or 14/14 rotation rotating between days and nights. Client approved Site access. Drug and Alcohol Test.

Accountabilities

• Safely prepare, position, and operate underground drilling equipment to achieve required blast hole layouts and install ground support in accordance with engineering specifications. Previous experience with project-specific drilling equipment is considered an asset.
• Operate jumbos and bolting equipment efficiently and in a manner that supports maximum productivity while maintaining safe work practices. Ensure equipment is properly positioned, secured, and ready for conti...
