Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Quality Engineer to support quality assurance activities in Welding and Stamping operations within the automotive/manufacturing environment. This role will focus on monitoring weld quality, supporting problem-solving activities, and driving continuous improvement to meet customer and internal quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support quality control in welding and stamping processes
  • Monitor weld quality (visual, dimensional, destructive tests)
  • Assist with root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone)
  • Track and report KPIs (FTQ, PPM, scrap, rework)
  • Participate in LPAs and internal audits
  • Support APQP documentation (PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow)
  • Help implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams
