Journeyperson Electrician

Role

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Journeyman Electrician performs maintenance, upgrades, and installation of electrical systems in industrial settings. They read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical code specifications; inspect systems to identify defects; and ensure compliance with codes. This senior role also involves performance evaluation, coaching, mentoring, and training of Electrician Apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring, conduits, cable trays, and fixtures across buildings, industrial facilities, and infrastructure projects, ensuring precision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Install electrical panels, switchgear, control systems, and distribution boards to effectively regulate and distribute power.
