Job Description
Elevate your career as a Journeyperson Electrician with Rising Edge Group, specializing in high-voltage electrical systems. This position focuses on equipment maintenance, inspection, and training while ensuring safety across projects in British Columbia.
As a seasoned Journeyperson Electrician, you will report to the Site Supervisor and manage installations, troubleshooting, and repairs in high-voltage substations ranging from 13.8 kV to 500 kV. You will guide and mentor Electrical Apprentices while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and codes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform installations and maintenance on high-voltage systems
• Operate construction equipment including manlifts and skid steers
• Lead training sessions for Electrical Apprentices
• Inspect and test high-voltage electrical equipment
• Ensure compliance with Technical Safety BC requirements
