Journeyperson Carpenter

Position Description

Clark Builders is hiring Carpenters to work in Whitecourt, AB. This role will be responsible for the safe construction of foundations and other concrete structures on a commercial site.

Reporting To

Foreman or Superintendent

Duties and Responsibilities

• Erect/install and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites.
• Build footings, walls, column forms, slab forms, and stair forms and parapets.
• Read and interpret drawings and/or receive instructions from a supervisor.
• Carry out a variety of carpentry services (including backing, blocking, framing, installation and other general carpentry).
• Installs precast units, framing systems sheathing, exterior trims, interior/exterior doors and hardware, windows, flooring, wall coverings, washroom accessories and architectural materials.
