As a member of CUPE Local 748, you will report to the Director of Operations while taking on a variety of carpentry duties. This role requires your skills for planning and constructing projects, as well as managing tools and materials. Effective communication and independent work abilities are essential traits for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and maintain buildings and related structures
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely
• Develop layouts and plan carpentry projects from designs
• Manage inventory levels and order necessary supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma and Interprovincial Trade Certification
• At least two years in a similar journeyman role
• B.C. Class 5 driver’s license
