POSITION SUMMARY: The Journey Level Mechanic provides maintenance repairs and rebuilding functions on District fleet vehicles.

  • Rebuilds and repairs components and auxiliary systems on vehicles or makes component exchanges.
  • Performs minor body repairs and painting on vehicles.
  • Diagnose and repair on power train components, brake systems, chassis components and body, lighting, heating, and electrical systems.
