Job Description
XTL Transport is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic at our Airdrie location. This role operates Monday to Friday, focusing on trailer maintenance and safety compliance.
As a Trailer Mechanic, you will handle all aspects of trailer repairs, including diagnosing issues and performing repairs on mechanical and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have Red Seal Technician or CVIP certification and experience with reefer units. This position will also require regular communication with both internal teams and drivers to ensure optimal performance of our fleet of over 130 trucks and 350 trailers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair body damage and perform maintenance on trailers
• Conduct inspections for safety and compliance
• Keep precise records of maintenance activities
• Maintain tools and workspace in excellent condition
