As a Conveyor Technician with IAMGOLD, you will play a pivotal role in the maintenance and operational reliability of mining equipment near Gogama, Ontario. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, conducting repairs, and performing preventive maintenance on conveyors and other machinery. Your role will also involve mentoring team members and collaborating closely to enhance productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and repair conveyor systems for optimal operations
• Perform belt splicing and lagging procedures
• Conduct safety checks and compliance monitoring
• Maintain records using CMMS for maintenance tasks
• Train and mentor new team members on safety and operations
