Key Responsibilities
*Design, develop, and maintain jigs, fixtures, and moulds to support production processes.
*Evaluate current manufacturing processes and recommend mechanisation improvements to enhance productivity and reduce manual operations.
*Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot tooling or mould-related issues.
*Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new tooling or mechanisation projects.
*Ensure tooling and mould designs comply with safety, quality, and industry standards.
*Maintain detailed technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and maintenance records.
*Implement preventive maintenance programs for jigs, fixtures, and moulds.
*Train production staff on the correct use and handling of jigs, fixtures, and automated systems.
*Stay updated with the latest manufacturing technologies, automation, and mechanisation trends.
