Join JBS Food Canada in Brooks, Alberta as a skilled 3rd-4th year Millwright Apprentice. Support the maintenance of a busy facility processing thousands of cattle daily.
We're looking for enthusiastic Apprentice Millwrights to help maintain our Brooks facility. Responsibilities include installing and aligning machinery, conducting inspections, and performing preventive maintenance. Candidates should possess 2+ years of maintenance experience and be registered as an apprentice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial machinery systems
• Read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics
• Clean and lubricate machinery during maintenance
• Fabricate parts using lathes and grinders
• Direct construction of machine foundations as needed
Requirements:
• Completion of vocational/technical training
• Experience in a maintenance-related role
• Must be Registered Apprentice in Alberta
• Ability to lead multi-disciplined work groups
