Job Description
We're looking for an experienced JavaScript developer to build a fast tracking lookup service for FedEx and China Post. The goal is to retrieve tracking results and return them in a strict JSON format.
We can provide ZenRows and Bright Data access to help with reliability and rate limits.
Requirements
Build tracking lookup for:
- FedEx and China Post
- JavaScript / only
- Response time target: under 8 seconds per request (typical case)
- Output must be returned in a specific JSON format (we will provide the schema)
Must NOT use browser automation tools:
- No Pupp
- No Playwright
- No Selenium
Preferred approach:
- Find and use official APIs or private endpoints that can be called directly (HTTP requests)
- Handle anti-bot/rate limits using ZenRows/Bright Data if needed
- Clean, production-ready code:
Error handling
- Retries / timeouts
- Proxy support (if required)
- Easy configuration (env vars)
