Overview
Join Zurich as a JavaScript & API Senior Developer to build a new end-to-end Zurich Edge digital insurance platform for customers in the Asia Pacific region. You will contribute to a platform designed for automation and straight-through processing across the full insurance value chain.
Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and how to best build the web application
- Web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript
- Microservices: Node.js and/or Nest.js, PostgreSQL, Redis
- Unit testing (JEST), integration testing and deployments in various environments
- Troubleshooting, debugging & defect analysis
- Interface with other teams to integrate the web with back-end services
- Build & unit test reusable components and functions
- Familiar with CI/CD processes in AWS (configuration management, automated builds, unit testing, etc.)
- Occasional travel may be required
