Java SME/Consultant

Main responsibilities:

• Define and ensure standards (API governance, Java best practices, middleware configurations) are applied.
• Provide expertise in performance tuning for Java applications and middleware platforms including memory management and garbage collection strategies. Eg by using Dynatrace as a support of recommendations.
• Train and mentor developers. Support code reviews when necessary. Especially for Java upgrade initiatives to get rid of Java obsolescence.
• Troubleshoot expert: Act as the top tier escalation point for complex technical issues related to API Management, Java or application server performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of strong expertise in Java and related frameworks: Spring / Spring batch / Hibernate / Spring Boot. Python is a plus.
• Significant experience in API management platform (Knowledge of WSO2 is a plus) as well as security OAUTH and OpenID protocols
