Role: Java Developer

Location: Mississauga, Canada (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
  • At least 8 to 12 years of experience in Java hands-on development

Qualifications

  • Experience in Java 8, REST, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments, Spring Security, JPA, XML, XSLT, JAXB, JAXP, MVC, and various design approaches in Agile, Scrum, and/or Test-Driven Development
  • Experience in project life cycle activities on development and enhancement projects. In-depth knowledge about contemporary application architecture; practical experience with Microservices
  • Experience with Microservice Architecture principles and tools such as Spring Boot and Event Driven Services. Cloud Native Applications Development
  • Good knowledge of API design
  • Experience with DevOps practices such as pipelines and CI/CD tools
