About the role

We are seeking a Java Developer to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native data integration solutions as well as maintain and support existing Java applications. The role requires expertise in Java, AWS and knowledge/experience in Talend Cloud, along with the ability to contribute to architecture decisions and lead if required. This role offers hybrid working.


Location: Sydney preferred but flexible across Australia


Key Responsibilities


Primary duties include:


  • Deliver and maintain end-to-end Java application with Talend data integration architecture and implementation

  • Integrate Java and Talend Cloud with AWS services (S3, RDS, Lambda, EC2)

  • Develop and optimize Java-based custom routines and Talend components to solve complex business problems

  • Knowledge of best practices for cloud security, performance tuning, and cost optimization
