Job Description
We are seeking a Japanese / English Bilingual Assistant Manager to join our freight forwarding team in Mississauga. This is a hands-on role that combines freight forwarding operations with branch administration and management support.
The primary responsibility is managing Air and Ocean Export Operations, while providing support for Air & Ocean Import and LTL Export operations as needed. As a small branch, this position also assists the Branch Manager with daily operations, compliance, and office management.
Japanese / English Bilingual Assistant Manager Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Air Export and Ocean Export shipments from booking to delivery.
- Prepare shipping and customs documentation.
- Communicate with customers, overseas agents, carriers, and vendors.
- Support Air & Ocean Import and LTL Export operations when required.
- Assist the Branch Manager with daily branch operations.
