IT System Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

· Liaise and work with vendors and other IT personnel for technical projects and problem resolution

· Identify and provide recommendations that can meet business requirements and objectives

· Install, configure, test and troubleshoot networks, servers and other infrastructure

· Monitor availability of services meet agreed service levels, performance indicators and periodic maintenance on IT infrastructure

· Test and implement security patches for operating systems, servers and network devices

· Ongoing assessment of new threats and improve on computing security

· Analyse and review critical logs, investigate, and troubleshoot technical issues

· Maintain security, backup and redundancy strategies

· Update technical documentation, covering infrastructure, inventory, service subscriptions and contracts
