Job Description

The IT Technician (Level 2) is responsible for providing advanced technical support and operational delivery across the organisation’s IT environment. The role focuses on resolving complex incidents, supporting and maintaining systems and infrastructure, and contributing to the continuous improvement of IT services.

The post holder acts as a key escalation point from the IT Support Technician (Level 1), taking ownership of second line issues and ensuring problems are resolved effectively and sustainably. The role also supports IT projects and works closely with the Senior IT Technician (Tier 2/3) and IT Manager on infrastructure, security, and service improvement activities.
