IT Patching Specialist

Job Description

Our prominent public sector client in Durham Region is looking for a Senior IT Patching Specialist to lead strategic improvements in patch management tooling and compliance visibility. This role is not hands-on patching, but rather focused on optimizing tools, aligning reporting systems, and enabling consistent, enterprise-wide compliance views.

This will be a 3 month term to start with potential for extension.

This will be a hybrid role with some on site work required, on a needs basis.

You will work closely with endpoint, security, and patching teams to evaluate and refine tools like SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager), Intune, Right Click Tools, and Patch My PC.
