Job Description

Overview

Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of production and UAT environments, including health checks of systems, servers, and network devices. Monitor scheduled tasks, batch jobs, and service status, including start/stop routines and escalation based on standard operating procedures. Conduct remote monitoring and analysis of system availability, stability, and resource utilisation across servers, databases, and core network infrastructure. Respond promptly to system alerts and user-reported issues, ensuring quick resolution or escalation to minimise business disruption. Handle incidents and service requests via the Service Desk platform, ensuring accurate ticket logging, categorisation, status tracking, and resolution. Assist in the development and implementation of system maintenance plans, including patch management, system upgrades, and regular checks.
