Overview

Daily health assessments of the environment during normal work hours:

  • Check logs for database, syslog, application server configuration, and other components in the solution.

  • Verify backup jobs have completed correctly.

  • View and analyze logs by using Diagnostics feature in OpenShift web client.

  • Check storage free space.

  • Verify all services are running, including http, application servers, LDAP, and the database.

Weekly maintenance activities for OpenPages

  • Perform database maintenance and collect statistics.

  • Enable and Disable OpenPages System Admin Mode, as necessary.

  • Monitor and manage the reporting schema.

  • Monitor and manage folder and files using System Files area of IBM OpenPages.
