Key Responsibilities
Backup Management
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide backup and recovery strategies aligned with business continuity requirements.
- Administer and manage enterprise backup tools and platforms.
- Monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure compliance with defined retention and recovery policies.
Disaster Recovery (DR)
- Develop, implement, and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) plans for critical applications and infrastructure.
- Deploy DR solutions using modern, high-availability and replication technologies.
- Conduct regular DR drills and testing exercises; document results to meet audit and compliance requirements.
Storage Administration
- Manage enterprise SAN and NAS environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and availability.
- Perform storage capacity planning, provisioning, performance tuning, and lifecycle management.
