Background and Strategy

  • Programme 'Iris' is a strategic multi-year Regulatory Reporting programme that would provide SCB with a regulatory reporting system fit for future growth of the bank in an evolving regulatory landscape. The programme aims to provide a platform that strengthens governance and controls, improve data quality and optimises the end-to-end regulatory reporting process.
  • The Data workstream of Iris is stood up to implement the strategic data sourcing minimising manual touchpoints / end use computing needs focusing on ensuring the availability, accuracy, completeness and the integrity of the data used for regulatory reporting by implementing robust data governance practices, data quality controls and data lineage tracking.
