Job Description

Job Purpose

The primary purpose is to ensure theGeneral Account portfolios (Life and GI) earn sufficient returns to pay policyholder liabilities and shareholder dividends. This involves direct portfolio management,robust investment research and reporting, introduction of new investment outlets/asset classes, andupdating of policies and manuals.

  • Portfolio Management 

  • Ensure the Non-linked funds can fund the policy liabilities and other cash outflows with an Asset-Liability Management perspective for portfolio management

  • Achieve at least benchmark return with no breach in risk limits as defined in the Risk Appetite Framework

  • Ensure investment portfolio’s compliance with regulatory requirements, Non-Linked Investment Policy, and Risk Appetite Framework
