Inventory Control, Receiving & Shipping Clerk

Overview

Under the supervision of the Procurement Specialist, the Inventory Control, Receiving & Shipping Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, documenting, storing, and controlling inventory of materials, supplies, parts, and equipment used in lumber mill operations.

• Receive, inspect, document, and store incoming materials and supplies
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts and audits
• Monitor stock levels and investigate inventory discrepancies
• Support purchasing activities and provide backup procurement coverage
• Organize warehouse operations and safely operate material‑handling equipment
• Coordinate shipping, repairs, warranty returns, and vendor communications
