**Warehouse Inventory Clerk**
**Location:** Norwich, CT
**Pay Rate:** $21.00 per hour
**Shift:** Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
**Work Arrangement:** Onsite
**Job Description:**
+ Accurately count merchandise in stock and record totals in inventory management systems.
+ Compare and reconcile inventory data with office records, including sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices, to provide up-to-date inventory figures.
+ Verify clerical calculations by performing physical counts of stock and correct errors found in computations or quantities.
+ Investigate and report the causes of discrepancies between system records and actual stock levels.
+ Generate regular reports highlighting inventory balances, shortages, or discrepancies.
+ Prepare lists of depleted inventory items and recommend action for defective or unusable stock.
