An Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining an organization’s inventory levels, ensuring products and supplies are properly tracked, stored, and accounted for. This role involves monitoring stock levels, receiving and recording new inventory, and preparing orders for dispatch. Inventory Clerks play a crucial part in ensuring businesses have the right products in stock and in preventing issues related to inventory shortages or overstock.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring items are ordered or restocked when necessary.
- Track inventory movements, including receiving, stocking, and dispatching goods.
- Perform regular stock counts (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly) to ensure inventory accuracy.
