Responsibilities

  • The Inventory Clerk is responsible for overseeing inventory management, tracking incoming and outgoing stock, and ensuring that products are accurately recorded in the inventory system. The role involves performing regular stock audits, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring that inventory is readily available to meet operational needs.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or overages.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality.
  • Label, organize, and store products in the warehouse or storage areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements and transactions in the inventory system.
  • Conduct regular physical inventories and reconciliation with system records.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders based on stock levels.
