Interventional Cardiologist

Job Summary Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) is inviting applications for the position of Interventional Cardiologist (IC). There are three IC positions available, two with a required start date in December and the third required to start spring/summer . SMH is located in the Lower Mainland and is part of the Fraser Health Authority. SMH is the 2nd largest hospital in BC with nearly beds and has the busiest ER department in Canada. Inpatient cardiology has a 9-bed CCU and an 18-bed telemetry ward, with plans for further expansion in the coming months. The cardiology program at SMH is in a period of expansion and we will be opening 2 new purpose-built cardiac catheterization laboratories in November immediately prior to commencing our Interventional Cardiology service, which has been jointly commissioned by Fraser Health and Cardiac Services BC as part of the regional strategy for Cardiology.
