Interventional Cardiologist

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with coronary artery disease and other cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization and coronary angiography.
• Conduct interventional procedures including angioplasty, stent placement (PCI), thrombolysis, and related catheter‑based treatments.
• Manage acute cardiac emergencies such as STEMI and NSTEMI cases.
• Interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and other cardiac investigations.
• Provide pre‑procedural evaluation and obtain informed consent.
• Monitor and manage post‑procedure recovery and complications.
• Participate in on‑call duties for cardiac emergencies.
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff for comprehensive cardiac care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
