Your tasks

as an intern in the noise and vibration research and development team
  • Conduct advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate and enhance the structural performance of wind turbine gearboxes

  • Analyze and optimize dynamic behavior of gearbox systems to improve reliability and operational efficiency

  • Develop, implement and automate innovative optimization methodologies to advance gearbox design and performance
  • Your profile as an intern or thesis student in the noise and vibration research and development team

  • Studying towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field of study

  • Basic knowledge of drive train technology and digitalization is an advantage

  • Programming skills (Python) and experience in Finite Element Modelling (ANSYS) is an advantage

  • Very good English skills
