Internship Spring 2027

You can perform medical internships at Kainuu Central Hospital in the fields of emergency medicine, anesthesiology and intensive care, internal medicine, surgery, psychiatry, radiology, and pediatrics.

Internships typically last about one month, with two-week periods per specialty in outpatient clinics (total of 1 month). We hope you apply for internships in the specialty you have completed coursework in.

Eligibility

Good written and spoken Finnish skills are required. Candidates must have completed at least three years of medical studies and be fluent in spoken and written Finnish.

Proactive, good communication skills and motivation are also valued.
