Responsibilities

  • Assist with the introduction, monitoring, review, and evaluation of library systems and procedures
  • Support the creation, updating, and management of online information resources
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the libraries
  • Support the Principal with aspects of strategic planning and service development
  • Help encourage and support students and staff in the effective use of library resources
  • Assist with the processing, shelving, maintenance, and organisation of library resources, including supporting the presentation of information for staff and students
  • Help maintain the general appearance of the libraries and contribute to an environment conducive to study
  • Assist in the creation of support materials for students and staff, with reference to identified subject areas
  • Support teaching staff by helping source and provide relevant professional development materials and resources
