Job Summary 

The Intern, Bridge Assessment Engineer is responsible for providingfield and office support to the Bridge Quality Supervisor and Bridge Quality Manager.
This role involves assisting with bridge and culvert inspections, preparing
inspection reports, and updating bridge and culvert inventory data.

Major Responsibilities 

  • Support and promote safe work practices in all activities.
  • Participate in joint field inspections across the Region alongside Bridge Inspectors.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting inspection reports for bridges and culverts.
  • Update bridge and culvert inventory data using SAP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work safely in various environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and World).
  • Ability to undertake multiple travel assignments involving 5- or 8-day duration
