Two Intermediate Teaching Position

Start date: September 2st 2025/2026 school year.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Education degree
  • Must have or be eligible for BC Teacher Certification
  • Experience working with First Nations students
  • Good communication skills, self-motivated, compassionate, empathetic, and enthusiastic
  • Ability to manage challenging student behaviors

Knowledge And Experience

  • Primary Programs: Read Well, Saxon Math, Acadience Reading
  • Intermediate programs: Reading Mastery, Six Minute Solution, Jump Math/Math Focus, Corrective Reading, Third Quest
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of First Nations culture
  • Effective planning strategies which include lesson plans, unit plans and year plans ...
