Join Sedgman as an Intermediate Structural Designer in Vancouver, BC. Contribute to mining projects by producing 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in structural drafting, particularly within the mining sector. You will convert engineering concepts into technical plans, working with multi-disciplinary teams on various EPCM projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D is essential, with knowledge of Autodesk Revit or Navisworks as a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce detailed structural drawings and 3D models
• Develop designs for steel and concrete mining structures
• Coordinate with teams for conflict resolution and clash detection
• Ensure compliance with mining codes and QA/QC requirements
• Conduct field visits to verify drawings and support construction
Requirements:
• Associate Diploma in CAD or relevant qualification
• 5–7 years of structural drafting experience
