Intermediate Proposal Engineer

Qualifications

• Must have a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Must be registered with ECSA or have Project Management accreditation, or membership in a relevant professional body.
• Must have 3–5 years of experience in formal estimating and pricing bids/proposals within the Electrical Engineering & Construction industry.
• Must have experience in industrial electrical projects and tenders, including Motor Control Centres (MCC) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) projects.
• Must have experience in reading and analysing Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
• Must have experience in reading and interpreting technical requirements, drawings, and have knowledge of Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) and SCADA systems.
• Must have knowledge of general tender/contractual processes, terminology, and requirements.
