Our valued client is looking for an Intermediate Deskside Support (on-site) to ensure proper computer operation through problem resolution and hands-on support at the desktop level.
An initial 1 year contract (potential for extension). This is an % on-site position in the west-end of Ottawa
Pay Rate: $28-$34/hr
Tasks include:
Under minimal supervision, ensure proper computer operation through moderately complex activities so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop levelPerform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair for remote users as needed
