Overview

BDO’s Cloud Accounting Services team in Sault Ste. Marie and Sudbury is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to support a variety of clients throughout the accounting cycle and help the firm deliver high quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Contribute to month‑end and year‑end close activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Maintain organized financial documentation for audit readiness and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and increase efficiency through better use of systems and tools.
