Job Title: Interiors Engineer

Location: Newark, CA (Onsite)

Contract Duration: Long Term Contract

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–6 years of mechanical design engineering experience
  • Direct experience in automotive interior components development (e.g., hard trim, soft trim, instrument panel, door trims, consoles, headliners, or related systems)
  • Strong background in plastic part design and injection molding
  • Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
  • Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA V5/V6 preferred) for 2D/3D modeling and packaging studies
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical product specifications
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Understanding of structural performance, materials selection, ergonomics, and safety requirements for interior components
