Position Description

You will serve as the Principal Engineering Technical Manager for Autonomy within Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will provide recognized senior-level expertise in the development of Autonomous Mission Systems functionality for use in missions systems (ex. to augment onboard targeting, spectrum sensing, or weapon effects, etc.) for Naval Aviation platforms.
  • You will lead efforts to research, develop, engineer, test, evaluate, standardize, procure, produce, and furnish fleet support of Autonomous Mission Systems and algorithms which have been approved or are planned for service acquisition.
  • You will coordinate and review the full spectrum of Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDTE) efforts applicable to the development of Autonomous Mission Systems technologies.
