Overview of Position

The certificated position will consist of a combination of classroom instruction and/or worksite learning teacher and supporting all students with career connected learning activities in the school building. Main responsibilities include; coordinating and supervising learning activities such as internships, job shadows, career decision-making/planning, economic awareness/exploration, employability skills, and work readiness skills. The instructor will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring internships with local businesses; Coordinate career-readiness activities, create curriculum, and support student leadership with other Career Connected Learning Coordinators in the district with support from the CTE district office.
