I need a tool that lets me visualize 5–8 different belt weave patterns and quickly swap thread/strand colors to preview how different color combinations will look. I want to be able to experiment with colors in real time without needing to re-model or re-build anything from scratch.
Preferred Approach: Blender Project
My strong preference is a Blender file (.blend) that includes:
5–8 accurately modeled woven belt patterns (I will provide reference images/diagrams of each weave style)
A material/color system where I can easily change individual thread or strand colors using Blender's color picker — ideally through a simple control panel or clearly labeled material slots, not by digging through node trees
Realistic enough geometry that I can see how threads pass over and under each other and how color choices affect the overall look of the pattern
A clean, organized file with named collections/objects so I can navigate between patterns easily
