Intelligence Specialist (Operations)

Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W4JLAA STRATEGIC SYSTEMS SUPPORT ELEMENT. Responsibilities Serve as an all-source intelligence analyst in the Directorate of Intelligence (G2) responsible for applying detailed knowledge of all source intelligence in support of operations. Prepare and conduct frequent in-depth formal and informal intelligence briefings of intelligence assessments to the G2, commander, staff, higher headquarters, deployed US forces and other audiences including national level intelligence agencies.
