Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Program, modify, and optimise PLC-controlled machinery and production equipment
- Commission, configure, and test instrumentation and automated control systems
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VSDs, motors, sensors, and field instrumentation
- Support automation upgrades, system integrations, and new equipment installations
- Calibrate and configure instrumentation to ensure accurate process control
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve machine performance, efficiency, and reliability
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to optimise production processes
- Develop and maintain PLC backups, technical documentation, and system records
- Ensure all automation systems comply with quality, safety, and operational standards
