- Boiler Operations: Understand the instrumentation, interlocks, safety systems, and start/stop sequences for boilers.
- Control Valves: Possess knowledge of control valve design specifications, selection, and application.
- PID Controllers: Familiarity with various types of PID controllers and their tuning methods.
- HMI & SCADA: Knowledge of HMI design and SCADA screen design.
- Networking: Able to handle network issues and understand different network structures.
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of computers and recent advancements in technology.
- Calibration: Expertise in the calibration of various measurement instruments and their procedures.
- Pneumatics & Hydraulics: Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic instruments.
- Software: Working experience with Omnex software for MSA.
